Need help recovering a crosshair from CSGO

[HELP] CROSSHAIR NOT SAVING

Follow instructions in the listed order!
•---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------•

1.) You are using an autoexec.cfg

1.1)

•) Go to ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg\ •) Find "autoexec.cfg" •) If it IS NOT there •••) Skip to '1.2)' •) If it IS there •••) Open it and delete all lines starting with "cl_crosshair..." OR delete the entire file. •) Save changes

Go to: ...\Steam\userdata\<SteamID3>\730\cfg\ •) Find "autoexec.cfg" •) If it is NOT there •••) Skip to '2)' •) If it is there •••) Open it and delete all lines starting with "cl_crosshair..." OR delete the entire file. •) Save changes

2.) Your config.cfg is set to "Read-only"

Go to: ...\Steam\userdata\<SteamID3>\730\cfg\ •) Find "config.cfg" •) Right click •••)Properties •) UN-CHECK "Read-Only" •) Apply & OK

3.) You followed all steps and it is still not saving?

•) Start the "Crosshair Generator" map •) Adjust your crosshair •) Open the console and type:

host_writeconfig

•)Hit Enter to apply.

Is it possible to bind crosshairs to certain keys? I am not having much luck getting the commands to work with a bind.

Yes - If you're still wondering I do this in my autoexec.cfg file. You can do this by creating a separate config file for only your crosshair settings and lets say its named crosshair1.cfg - You go into your autoexec file and add a line like this:

bind "f4" "exec crosshair1.cfg"

Yes - If you're still wondering I do this in my autoexec.cfg file. You can do this by creating a separate config file for only your crosshair settings and lets say its named crosshair1.cfg - You go into your autoexec file and add a line like this:
bind "f4" "exec crosshair1.cfg"

Thank you but its also not necisarry to put those commands in your autoexec :P I appreciate the help though.
