All basecast characters have advanced compatability with Talking Flower. No workshop characters have buddy-end advanced compatability.
Any character with the names "Mario", "Luigi", "Toad", "Toadette", "Peach", "Daisy", "Yoshi", "Nabbit", "Wiggler", or "Goomba" will have the Talking Flower cheer their name.

All basecast characters have simple compatability, excluding Maypul (there wasnt a good line for her sorry maypul fans but your rat has too much scoliosis for a line)
