Maybe when the TARDIS is near the ground it enables this feature, like theres a button for landing.. Landing Mode!

I find it hard to land and still make it look epic (mostly because I'm wobbling around too much for anyone to take me seriously). I think this would be a great to have as a toggle - especially if it can be bound to a key.

There was something similar in CAP addon, which allowed puddle jumper to go straight through gate without any effort.

It already keeps it upright in flight?

I think they mean dead upright, not the slightest wobble, like the in the rare occasions when you could see her fly in the classic series. I do find when you enable float mode after flying, the TARDIS very quickly inverts.

I mean more for float than anything, since when I leave it in flightmode, it tends to slowly turn on its side a lot

That's what flightmode does :P

but when you land the tardis while moving forward it always falls on the sides never upright. I like the idea because it would mean I don't have to land slowly with shift or hoping it lands upright

This is called physics

I like this idea for better-looking landings. You press a key to have full stabilization and not even the slightest wobble, and your landings from flightmode actually look impressive. Maybe flightmode deactivations while in landing mode have the old materialisation thud sound for even more epic landings.
