Time travel wouldn't be possible because you would have to record literally every tiny thing that happens in the map, then reverse it, causing immense lag for a wide variety of computers.

Yes but is your house and items still there?

It could be done with saves. As in, initiate a save within the TARDIS, travel back to then, travel back forward, etc. This wouldn't work in multiplayer though, unless you took it to singleplayer.
