i wonder if there could be a way to allow some extensions to include a chameleon circuit (for the non police box TARDISes) that could function as the redecoration feature solely for the exterior and not the interior. You could change the TARDIS into any prop you select that is bigger than the door you come out of. It could also open the door to more exterior only extensions for the TARDIS.
