I was just fooling about with the addon and making it redecorate a few times with some extension interiors installed. At one point it switched to an interior which had nothing interactable in it and so I thought I'd just redecorate again to a version that does work via the options menu. That feature was sadly removed so I couldn't.

I just spawned a new tardis in and moved on but I think it's still nice to be able to open the digital console if you will from the options menu just so you have a backup should it be needed.
