There are errors and teleport issues when travelling to a gate far away (distance unknown). This is caused by recent changes (01.105) where clients are only aware of blocks near to them.
A workaround is incoming, but a true solution is not possible yet.
This is only a problem non-server MP clients. Server player and SP are unaffected.

25 Apr 2015:
* Due to MP revamp, the DHD requires a power source. This may or may not be fixed in the future. The gate itself does not, only the DHD.
* Puddle jumper weapons don't work.
