Cannot play, error: Required map is missing on your client
Hey, I've subscribed to this map, Steam did download it, however whenever I attempt to start it I will get disconnected while still being in the loading screen.
The error message displayed is the same as in the title.

I'm using the native CS2 Linux version, not Windows, if that makes a difference.

Not sure if you can even do anything about this (probably not?) but maybe others encounter the same issue.

Seen the same issue with another Linux user, might be a CS2 bug related to the Linux version?

Do you know if any other workshop map works, or is it only this map?

Sorry for not testing another map in the first place, I should have thought of that as a software dev lol
I guess it's the Linux build's fault then, thanks for your fast answer though :)

Edit: There are already open issues on the GitHub csgo-osx-linux issue tracker, Valve should be aware of this issue

Yeah, this happens on linux only it seems, I have the same issue, hopefully valve fixes :(

adding -insecure to the launch options helps, but cannot play on vac servers then untilt it is removed

This issue is fixed as of 2023-11-16; -insecure is no longer needed to launch custom maps on Linux!

im getting this error on windows

I'm getting this Error on windows too. Only on aim botz, no other custom maps fail to load.
Also interestingly, the map loads in and places me for one second, before attempting to load again and then crash.

The bots automatically run and attack me, I can't restart and buy weapons in the map, how can I fix it?
