Description:
Sauroniops are dangerous creatures to encounter on the Ark, always being seen in pairs defending their territory. They seem immune to tranquilizers, though there is a way to domesticate one. With every pair of Sauroniops, there will always be 1 female, allowing you to steal an egg, best make haste or be prepared to deal with 2 very angry parents though.

They may be found in Mountains, High Deserts, Dunes, Volcano (gen 1), Eden (gen 2) and Chalk Cliffs (Valguero).

New debuffs:
Sauroniops comes equipped with 2 new debuffs

Blood loss: Causes stat reductions such as stamina drain, additionally it makes creatures weaker to attacks.

Blood clot: Prevents healing on any creature (including blood wyverns)

Controls:

LMB: Primary bite (Causes blood loss. Base 70 melee)

RMB: Stomp (Knockback, has cooldown. Base 65 melee)

C: Roar (Aesthetic)

X: Special bite (Causes blood clot, has cooldown. Base 75 mele)

Saddle:
Sauroniops saddle can be unlocked at level 70, it is a double seater and provides the "shaded" buff. The buff gives you reduced food and water drain, and additionally insulation in hot environments.

Taming method:
As seen in the description, all you need to do to get a Sauroniops is find a wild pair and steal an egg.
