Infinite Loading Screen and PC Freezing On Launch
There may be a glitch with patch 1.4.0 causing the loading screen to get stuck and taking up all your RAM, causing your PC to freeze. This is likely caused by the scores brought over from the base game having a lower number of classes, so it gets stuck in an infinite loop trying to read the score files.

To fix this issue, simply delete both scores.dat and scores_multiplayer.dat in your modded Barony folder. Your game will recreate these files upon launch with the correct number of classes. An automatic fix will be available for this in the next patch. Apologies for any inconveniences.

HI, I tried out the mod and it worked perfectly, my issue comes in when I decided to go back to vanilla and re-downloaded Barony again from steam. It does the same thing where it loads and then at the end of the loading it freezes my computer. I tried other methods like deleting score files and my saved runs incase that could be the problem but it still persists, any idea on what else I could try?

The only other solution I could find, if removing scores and saves files doesn't work, is disabling Steam Cloud for Barony.
