Green Generators
I've been trying to piecemeal information about the generators. Breaking them down into 8 40 encumbrance pieces is all fair and I have 2 stashed away. The fumes being vented... does that only happen if you keep them where they are spawned? Or can I keep them inside of a base free of fear? Does it matter if the house you install it in is map generated or player built when it comes to venting fumes? I'm assuming the area that is powered is the same as a normal generator, does that apply for levels going up/down?

Simply put, could we get some specific information here about the green generators? Gleaning through comments and patch notes is not sufficiently informative.

Once the generator turns on it does a tick check for power usage etc, during that check it tests the building code for toxicity and turns it off. It works on the entire building it is in.

Thank you, this is very helpful!

Hey, question about the generators, how do I fill up the generator using the Fuel Tanker from the '78 AM General M35A2 + M49A2C + M50A3 + M62 mod? I don't wanna stand there with a jerry can for an hour and fill the generator up that way.

edit: Unless I'm just dumb and don't know how to do it, I parked near it but I can only fill up the tanker from the generator but not the other way around.

edit2: Found a super easy way of getting alot of gas in a fairly short time into the generator, the Water Jugs from the Water Dispenser mod make it super easy, each jug can hold 250 Gas, so only 2 jugs to fill up the whole generator.

The water bottle dispenser is a great way of handling this. I would like to implement the tankers as well, however it was brought to my attention some exploit with them. When I get a chance to code them in I will try to stop that too. :)
