Been trying to figure out why this is happening. I have tested it in solo and MP and usually all the parts drop. When it doesn't it's always part 8/8. The good news is I have another mod coming out soon that will allow the player to build the entire generator from scratch.

Looking forward to that! Apart from Immersive Solar Arrays, there aren't really many well made mods that help with energy, so it would be great to have another option. Do you happen to have an ETA on this new mod?

I have a discord that catalogs my progress. It is taking longer because I am back to work. The first part is an add on for Build Menu and the second part is making factory machines run. I have about 3 or 4 more recipes to fix for the Build Menu portion and sounds to add in the first release of the factory mod.

On my end with the green generator. It does drop all 8 out of 8 parts when using the "pick up" thing. However, I cannot place it back down at any location despite using "unlimited carry" admin power and having all parts in inventory.

I know you have to be really close to the build location.

Is there a spawn command for the 8th part? I also have this issue on our server

Unfortunately no, I have not found a way to make pieces via recipe or spawn. However, you can make them with the Building Menu Factory Pieces mod I just released. They are built in two pieces because of the size of the item and the limit in Building Menu.

Figured out why 8 part wasn't spawning. We were disassembling these generators while they had at least some fuel. I think because of that the animation was bugging and the last part was dissappearing. When we drained all fuel the final part finally appeared.

It was invisible, we even tried to build generator back on the same place. So I guess it totally disappeared...

That's an interesting reason for failure...
