Would it be possible to add this as a random zombie spawn, and for the scream to aggro other nearby zombies to the player?

Mod is cool and I know theres similar screecher zombie mods, but they've never functioned right in multiplayer :/

yeah, cause actually you can choose to spawn runners in general setting "casual" on the type of zombies, but you can't determine the % of them spawning and sometime they are too much

could you give us a option to add custom sound file for the scream?

You can just replace the sound files manually in the mod's folder if you wish

The screech attracting other zombies is such a cool idea. That's how it was in the WWZ book, one zombie would see a survivor, make a noise, which said noise would make another one groan, then another, and another. Till you had a huge horde forming because one zombie saw you.

It'd be incredibly hard, but I'd love the WWZ book experience

Allowing the screech to attract zombies, almost like an alarm. It would go hand and hand with a last of us mod. It would relay more stealth into the game making looting more dangerous.

Option to turn the volume down. I took the mp3s and normalized the volume, reducing gain significantly which fixed our problem, but it'd be nice to have a sandbox option. Thanks for the cool mod!

Hello, I noticed that the files in this mod are in mp3, those are usually not optimized for PZ. The game is used to loading OGG files and mp3 is known to cause server chugg issues with PZ. Would it be possible to update the mp3 files to OGG? I would be happy to make the conversion and send those to you. Also, the sound loader script is using `float` values, would it be possible to use a regular number? Having the server process calculating `float` values might cause it to use more processing power than is necessary.
