Depends on what state of the game you are at.

Remember the Bone Cohort has no industry, in the normal sense. You will be able to just produce equipment in 2277 most likely, but until then you got to use your slaves.

Getting slaves to make collars is a great way to use them, as you can enslave more states. This is important because slaves are your bread and butter to appease the Centurions and to develop your army.

Also attacking Trollwarrren when they are at fight with the Marrow Drinkers its the easiest way to get em!

Stability is a huge issue when your cohort starts, I suggest choosing all of the red text during the beginning to max out the amount of slaves you can have and keep your stability high. Since breaking away from Caesar isn't in the mod yet, there's almost no point in trying to find your mom, give rights to women, and choose the "King" to field your troops. Do not use the slave component at the top of your screen until after you've killed/bribed all the centurions.

Kill all the Centurions before selecting the focus. ALL of them most be killed.
