Sound Problem
I can't hear the sound now. what's the problem?

Try re-installing it.

That's strange.. I converted all wav sound files to mp3.. maybe you need a codec?

ok, i solved i only had to download windows media player. thanks for the help anyway! :)

I'm not getting sound from any addon right now. It's weird.. Anyone gotta fix?

check in the garry's mod option if the sound is at max. that was the problem when i couldn't hear any sound!

Scratch my last comment. A lot of my addons aren't making sound. Mostly what seems like my nextbots. Sound is at max. Sanic still lacks his well known warning sound.

Spawned in Sanic again, to see if it was fixed.
Console: "Create Stream Failed error 44
Failed to load sound 'sanic\panic.mp3', file probably missing from disk/repository"

That seems like my problem, then. Just gonna test each addon to see which is missing sound files.

check if you have in your pc windows media player.

It's supposed to come with Windows 8.1, but it didn't install on my PC, for some reason.

it's supposed to be installed only in some version of 8.1
for example is not installed in 8.1N or 8.1pro

Ah, I see.. I thought I had a regular, basic win8.1, but it turns out the school gave me 8.1 enterprise N

I don't think I'll ever understand it, but it fixed the problem. Nextbots have sound again...
