endless waves?
Playing this again (only found it like last week) and doing T&R but are the marine waves endless when defending the teleportation pad? Or like what am I supposed to be doing?
I don't want this to come off as rude but it quickly turned into just boredom of wave after wave after wave, like 30 waves of just sitting there, wait for marine to spawn, shoot in head, wait for next one, rinse/repeat went from an "oo neat the other perspective of defense!" into ... "oh boy, another minute waiting for another spawn in the same exact spot to die the same exact way"
Am I missing a control panel to shut down the teleport pad or???

You need to kill the Cyborgs, one in the middle, two at the beginning. Once they are dead in their respective area, the Pelicans there begin to explode, hinting to move on. Once the three Cyborgs are dead, you can then use the Gravity Lift.

Yea I got past that, I mean once inside the T&R after meeting at the "muster hangar" going back to the lift room and defending the grav lift from the inside, they just keep coming and coming and nothing seems to progress

Battles are meant to be endless, but there are opportunities to move on. In the Gravity Room, the waves of Marines end after a certain iteration of spawns, that's maybe a few minutes, you just got to kill them all, or let the Elite do it. You then get radio chatter to move on to the Hangar after that. If you need any more help just feel free to ask here.

ohhh thank you, I'm a bit hard of hearing thanks to an accident years ago so absolutely did not hear any radio chatter at all, just sat in that room for like a half hour wondering if it was glitched or something since it didn't end

welp opposite problem now, on Boss (Keyes) went through the canyons of flood and all that, made it to the grav lift on the hill/mountain and... nothing, just sitting there for a few moments and not actually being lifted up into the next section, stood in various spots within the circle for like 3 minutes each and yea....

Did you kill all the Flood in the area? It might be waiting for the game to be safe for cutscene. It was working before, I'll look into it as soon as possible.

I got past the Grav Lift, I don't know what's happening on your end. I just stood in the middle of the purple light, game wasn't even safe when the cutscene triggered.

What difficulty are you on? What skulls do you have on? Can you retrace your steps how you got up the slope?

Sorry for delay, it has been -A WEEK- with work, but anyway back to the core topic. I'm just derping through on easy with bandana, grunt birthday, sputnik, boom, and pinata.. and there are no enemies or flood in the area, or anything, its just me walking around and standing at the lift area.

I noticed right away that the Scroopy Noopers biped is not waiting for you by the Gravity Lift, let me do some more tests using the conditions you listed above. Thank you for the video, it will really help me troubleshoot this. If you want to try to restart the level, that might fix it, but if it doesn't let me know right away.
I just got through it again using the conditions you listed above. What's your last checkpoint? It can help me trace the scripts.
Sometimes Sputnik breaks scripts, I know through testing. Is there a chance you got launched over a chunk of the map, and missed a trigger? Backtracking on foot should resolve this. In exchange I can try to identify the specific trigger volume you skipped and make it taller.
I'll try restarting level both as-is, and if that fails will do without sputnik, I don't recall any extreme launching save for the one encounter where the coolant pool is leaking and there are two hunters (and other covies) fighting endless waves under a rocky bridge, the part where a sniper rifle is in vanilla campaign after "raining carrier forms" in the canyons. At that point it didn't launch me too far and didn't think anything of it, but yea that may be it in hindsight.
Which area did you last see enemies/allies? Also, I'll look at the trigger volumes later, but update only when you are finished with the level.
