There is already a Spa Egg in your inventory when you start the game.
You can't pick up the guest card.
The eggs are not in the basket, but scattered around.
You can’t enter the earth stone without picking it up first.
When you solve the earth stone, there is no way to leave.
You can't throw cucumbers into the pond.
I suspect there are more issues, but these were the only ones that I could find. They obscure the rest. It’s shame, because you can really tell a lot of thought and effort went into this
We place all 5 teas in the right square, got 5 green bulbs all lit up.
And ZERO response.
Stuck in the room forever.
Also yes, the guest card is really hard to pickup. The box cover also not easy to open.
So, I got stuck here too, until I reread the instructions; the lights will light up when ANY bowl is in the right place.
but after i solved it, there was no rock anywhere :(
I had already a spa egg in the inventory when you start the game.
I couldn't pick up the guest card.
In the tea room I simply could pick up a stone and hand it over to the woman. Nothing happened , but my character said something along the lines of "It did teleport me" - no, it didn't.
Next I gave the egg (that I already had) to the woman and found myself in a room eating with her and the boy (my ramen bowl was on the ground). That's when I quit, because it did not make sense... now when I read here I realizise, that this bugged out for me.
Platform: Steam Deck
Bugs:
- All lotions populated on the floor under the vanity instead of on the vanity, and there were only 5 cow lotions in my game instead of 6.
- It is difficult to find the correct spot to push the kanji buttons when you need to deselect a symbol.
- I got physically stuck after crossing the lava and was unable to continue.
Not quite bugs, but bad user experience:
- The locker PIN code. The keycard may say you are in “Cabin 07”, but literally everything else says you are in “Cabin 7”- the physical key you pick up in your cabin, the cabin door, the directional sign, the map on the lobby wall, the locker number itself… The cabin is Cabin 7. The keycard is incorrect and players are supposed to intuit that the PIN code is using this incorrect number.
- It should be clear when players hover over the calligraphy inkpad that it’s a usable object. There’s no indication that it’s a usable object- or even that it’s an inkpad- unless you’re randomly waving my calligraphy pen around in a desperate hope to hit something in that room.
- The kappa shell puzzle pieces and tea bowls are annoyingly slow to move.
- A tea room puzzle lightbulb should not turn green if the bowl is still required to be pushed by another bowl. It may be in the correct spot for the given instructions for that bowl, but it is not in the correct spot. Seeing all lightbulbs green with no indication that the puzzle isn’t complete is confusing and makes players think it’s a bug. The bulb should turn yellow indicating that the instruction has been completed but the bowl is still not in its final spot.
- The peg above the kanji puzzle isn’t noticeably part of the puzzle, and there’s no indication that players can or should hang the lantern there unless they happen to be waving it.
- While the thought process behind the kanji puzzle isn’t super clear, it can be reasonably figured out. However, the start and end of lines are not well-defined making the solution extremely difficult, even when you know what you are looking for. I was beyond ready to quit at this point.
- It is confusing that the tea puzzle stone sits on the lobby desk the whole time. I kept thinking I was missing a stone because it wasn’t in my inventory.
