I'm trying it and at the moment I can suggest this:
1. Equipment: I would put specific images for all types of weapons present (AK-12, BTR82 etc....)
2. for Ukraine I would remove the NATO weapons and assets leaving only those from the Soviet era. For NATO weapons there should be the possibility for Ukraine to purchase or receive them through Focus.
These are probably all things you already have on your list but in the meantime I'll tell you.
Also take a look at the East Showdawn mod for ideas. HI
Would it be possible to include the effects of more ideological groups on various nations, particularly the anarchists? IRL a number of the people on the Ukrainian side whether it be as militias, humanitarian groups, or partisans are explicitly anarchists (even if they don't get as much publicity as the nationalist groups).
I know there is the decision to make as Ukraine as to whether-or-not you will embrace or sideline the fascists. Could you add something similar for the anarchists, as to whether-or-not you choose to embrace the anarchists on your side, or keep them at arms length?
We have considered it, but we have decided against overhauling the map for two main reasons:
1) It would require us to totally redo VPs, state names, state triggers, flags, the occupation system, etc.
2) It would take the focus away from the Russia Ukraine war, which would hurt gameplay
Aside from that, thank you for your compliments, your kind words mean a lot to us all - hope you have a nice day!
Irl the anarchists in Ukraine amount to a very small faction, but they are playable in game. Choose 'dishonour before death' then go to no garrison to collapse quickly, where you can play as anarchists (good luck tho).
I like your suggestion. When we do the anarchist tree (in 2050), we definitely will add an event or something that will determine their strength should Ukraine later collapse. Anarchia mama, synov sveikh lyubit!
Also i think that adding another layers of ideologies would hurt mod. It's not Millenium Dawn but an Ukrainan war so I think that you should dedicate new patches to only improve and develop the war itself.
That's just my opinion, mod right now is great but can be even greater so thank you
It wasn't Jiří Rusnok (ČSSD), but Petr Fiala (ODS).
I know it's a small feature.
