Many, if not almost every modders, don't take profit from their works. credit works too and its way more satisfying than receiving money. If only datae believed in fame, instead of money
Also, how would you know fame is more satisfying than money? Do you make addons?
Tell Brandonator he still owes me the fish
also piracy is illegal so that's why he's dmcaing it you goober
It's one thing to charge money on small mods that don't do much, another to put it behind a scummy practice that forces you to rebuy due to the nature of how their platform works (I'm looking at PureDark here). But neither of these are true.
also demonizing our hatred by calling us racist is much more childish, even though we are
despite the drm the code is dumped anyway and reuploads already begun (so far this is second upload)
paying people are getting drm-locked into joining steam group, getting no offline play and no ability to edit code to their needs (but muh jit bytecode aka "no cost optimization")
>charges 10 dollars for his little parkour mod
>gets mad when people pirate his game
>puts ip addresses on a public website
>bootlickers expect me to have some sympathy towards him
