The mod is designed to be flexible so that you as the mission maker can make whatever lore/story/plot you want, but I thought of my own lore for Curtains of Steel:


-WW2 starts the same way it does irl
-evacuation of Dunkirk fails with German forces not being given the halt order.
-Japan does not attack Pearl Harbour. they are focusing on securing their current annexed territories first.
-USA stays neutral, but worried about Japanese & German advances in Pacific & Europe. USA has a strong isolationist policy, and they are avoiding any war at the moment.
-USA builds and sells a lot of equipment to Allied forces as its a good opportunity for them to recover from great depression. it is peacetime for USA but they take this opportunity to innovate with new inventions and experiments.
-Op Sea Lion was successful and London falls. UK gov goes to exile in Canada, while UK industry&manufacturing goes to exile in USA. this allows the British to still manufacture heaps of British equipment to keep their warmachine going.
-Op Barbarossa succeeds and Moscow falls. Soviet gov goes to exile in Ural mountains. by this point in time Soviet manufacturing is well established in Siberia so Soviet industry is unharmed.
-North Africa see a lot of conflict but without US help, Allies don't progress.
-Germany looks into expanding influence to South America & Bahamas.
-Japan begins invasion of Australia. without US in Pacific war, Australia have been in-charge of Allied forces and have been pushed back due to lack of manpower.
-1945, the war is turning into a stale slugfest. Allied countries beg USA to join the war and fight back Axis. USA begins war planning.
-October 1945, Germany drops nuclear bomb on New York.
-October 1945, USA creates United Nations to fight back Axis. USA & UN is now at war with Axis. UN increase rate of supplies to Soviets so they can recover & rearm.
-April 1946, Germany discovers UFO crash site in Antarctica. they build research facility there and begin experimenting with UFO technology
-July 1946, a prisoned scientist/researcher secretly part of Da'at Yichud society was freed from a Nazi prison in France by French Resistance. the scientist inform Allies of technology vaults spread across the world.
-July 1946, Allies begin to uncover their first few Da'at Yichud vaults and begin experimenting with Da'at Yichud technology
-March 1947, Battle of England begins as Allies try to invade and retake England.
-March 1947, Soviets in exile prepare to take back Moscow.
