mod is broken

I did multiple new worlds with an assortment of mods. The only time beds looked messed up like in the link is when this mod was the only one enabled.

what mod ids do you have enabled from this mod? only one is required, blankets for beds is the main one you would want most likely, the others are simple one time texture replacement.

In the picture I provided I have quite a few mods on. I was able to disable the mod, pick up a bed, and put it back down and it looks normal. I did try a fresh save with only "Beds Have Blankets" mod enabled and had this problem. I don't know what you mean by "mod ids", I only had enabled "Beds Have Blankets" in my tests.

You have 2x textures enabled in your settings?

double sized textures is disabled

This mod only uses 2x. This breaks when not enabled
