IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT USING RESKINS!
For the most part, material replacements such as the 4k Vortigaunt textures work without any problems, but those such as the Antlion Guard: Remastered that I used in the picture may have some conflicts (it probably uses its own .mdl files?). I managed to fix this by installing this animation fix FIRST, then reskins AFTER.

I don't know why this happens. This is an issue I've discovered specific to the AG: R reskin that I'm using. I tried replacing Gman's model with someone else's, but to no avail. Probably just how Gmod handles addons, I guess?

Is this mod compatible with the Alyx replacements on the workshops?

Unfortunately not, since replacements would have to replace the Alyx.mdl files. Re-textures that affect the materials on her model should work without a problem, so long as they only affect the .vmt files and not the .mdl itself.

As I said in the FAQ, I do have an idea as to how modelers could take advantage of these fixes to have replacements properly work, but to do so I would need to create a guide explaining how this works in the first place. It will take some time but I do plan on eventually making one, if life permits.

i don't think it works with the nemez combine soldier replacements either

combine soldiers are not affected by this mod. In fact, i'm using one of nemez's combine soldier replacements right now without any problems.

Model replacements can now work for all campaigns, so long as the model replacements are compatible with the fix. If you would like to make a compatible model replacement, see the guide in the description.

For (compatible) model replacements to work, make sure to load the replacement AFTER the animation fix. See the section of the guide regarding the "Load Order" for more details.
