Bushido gets no market place or cap income, noresearch advisor, no surplus of anything at the start of the civil war. no national spirits at civil war start. The 12 mercs that original yakuza get are reaaally strong in the civil war

original yakuza quickly got 20 more divisions(massive stock pile of equipment) and their 12 mercs on top of it because of it making the war extremely difficult without mothballing all their units and wasting their caps on useless decisions before I switched to Bushido.

because the war was lasting so long vault city demanded territory too and I was forced to concede. Not really a bug but it was a painful experience.

After the war none of the territory I reclaimed was cored or anything :(.

When I got horses unlocked, I couldn't recruit them or any of the other divisions just as I can't modify any of my divisions. But I can recruit the samurai, kojunin, and ashigaru.

cant change garrison template cause all templates are locked I guess?I think you unlock the ability to change divisions way too late; 2282 is when I got it

the vault hido goes into is 183, in the lore vaults only go to 120? I'm not sure, not really a bug I suppose.

school of war focus doesn't work, or atleast the military academy part doesn't.

I couldn't research past the first horse tech, but that may be another mod causing that.

That's what I found in my playthrough of Bushido. It didn't make it impossible to reach the end of the focus tree with them thankfully and it was really fun despite all the issues. I did have to cheat a bit in the civil war though by tagging yakuza when they recruited mercs and getting rid of them, feels wrong that they can get 12 strong divisions real easy along with the many divisions they can recruit from the pool of equipment.

Did you do the focus to unlock the division templates? If it doesn't work after that idk why

The caps thing is a bug I have now fixed, ty for pointing it out
You should get 40% of the Yakuza stockpile + Extra guns if you did the stuff to buff Hido

I was using an old version of the mod and my save was at the civil war event so much of the fixes in last update didn't take effect, I guess that's why I had no stock pile. It took me until 2281 to find the focus for the division templates, and another year to get it lol but after that I was able to turn the campaign around, cause I was able to use a decent garrison. I think it should be given a lot earlier though, it really hurts your progression. I think it'd be better if it was unlocked right after the civil war. The lack of cores didn't hurt as much as I though it would.

Even then, I think the hoi4 stuff to transfer equipment might be bugged.
Akari get's the ability to edit units around the same time. Tho she doesn't have many wars. So maybe I should move up the focus.
Hido get's a lot of compliance so it's probably why the cores didn't matter as much.

School Of War thing was also a bug, ty for finding.
Oh and you can make the civil war easier by choosing the "Akari" option for enslaving Kaga and dealing with Vipers.
Yes it says it buffs Akari, which it does, but it also hurts her in other ways.
