Can't get this to work on the GOG version.
Mod works fine on the steam version but not the GOG version.
GOG version will crash with a general failure.

I don't have the GoG version of Homeworld Remastered, but it looks like it might not support ship patching. Was the GoG version updated to patch v2.3?

Can you try starting two games and share the log files from both:
1) As Hiigaran against a single Hiigaran CPU Player
2) As Vaygr against a single Vaygr CPU Player

GOG version is at 2.1 opened a ticket to gearbox

Okay, that would explain it. TFS only works with v2.205 and v2.3 because those are the versions of the game that supported the full modding features such as ship patching.
