there is a pearlcat wiki that you can go to that will explain better so I suggest looking there also! There is also a ability discussion somewhere in this void of discussions, it's pinned if I believe, but the red pearl you gotta... uh you know, like make the pearl just float there (C key if your using computer) does that make sense? and then you hit is with a spear and it should attack something within it's area, hope that makes sense and helps, I couldn't get it to work for me and personally I like how the red pearl first worked before all the updates and such, it was much easier, also within game I think it should tell you, I never listen to whatever the game tells me though -_-
