Can you please try to disable the requirement to spend all IMP points?
So you don't have to spend all the points and can have more freedom in the point allocation for your custom IMPs. Be nice to be able to complete the process without being forced to spend all the points.

Just figure out what specific stats you want, and add them all up before hand (90 marksman, 50 medical, 50 mechanical, = 190 points total... etc etc etc) Sure its not a basic menu option but its an easy enough issue to work around.

Doesn't help as much when you're making multiple IMPs.

If you are studying game mechanics it is sometimes important to design a certain dumb IMP. This would help immensely.
