A FEW SUGGESTIONS :D (EDITS MADE)
This is very incredible. Here are some suggestions which would make it really cool. if you dont want to add them thats ok, but I would love to see these added in future updates :D

1. An "end of footage" or broken screen effect whenever the player dies.

2. Screen Resolution settings. For me, I have a pretty large curved monitor, and the screen doesn't actually fit my whole screen, so a setting for that would be fantastic. (My screen res is 3440x1440)

3. Settings for shaking, distortions, and walking speed

You can, it's called OBS studio and burning an MP4 onto a vhs.

i think a setting to change the border around your screen to make it not as thick would be nice
