is the nacmesh ONLY for nextbots?
i tried to spawn a bunch of npcs and they wouldnt move. is it possible to make npc compatibility or is something wrong?

for npcs to move you need AI nodes

if you want regular npc's to work on navmesh, you need an addon that grants them that ability
navmesh is nextbot only to my knowledge

the one i use is called 'NPC Navmesh Navigation', but there might be others
