Not a modder, but the weapon thingdef parentname appears to be incorrect. As far as I can tell there is no VOV_BaseGun, so the weapons aren't actually recognised as weapons and can't be manufactured/equipped. Tested by changing to BaseHumanMakeableGun, as it is in the original Vaults of Vagar, and the weapons appear to function correctly in Vanilla. Currently testing CE.

Edit: Nevermind, I overthought the whole thing. Turns out my version of Vaults of Vagar just refused to update leaving me with the old file structure. Leaving this up in case anyone else has the same issue.

Continuing to run into this. XML error: Could not find parent node named "VOV_BaseGun" for node "ThingDef". Happens for every gun. Tried unsubscribing and re downloading and still not working. If more info is needed i will provide it. Thank you for your cool mods.

This is happening because the base mod, Vaults of Vagar, has not updated on your PC. Re-downloading it should fix the problem!
