Asked Questions
- Can zombies destroy the Storage-O-Matic, and screw up my save with thousands of items on the floor? No. Zombies completely ignore it, and can not damage it.

- Can we upgrade the Storage-O-Matic to a higher tier? No, you will have to craft a new one.

- Can the Storage-O-Matic be destroyed by fire? No.

- Is this mod mid-save compatible? Yes, it is safe to add this mod to an existing save. this mod only adds some items and recipes. No gamechanging code.

- Will this mod get advanced features? Probably not, this is just a simple item mod.

- Does the Storage-O-Matic require power? No, it only takes some batteries to craft it. The batteries do not drain and do not have to be replaced.

- Where can we find memory cards? Houses, offices, schools, electric store, book store, random crates.

- Does this mod work in multiplayer? Yes.

- Can we add a passcode or padlock to the Storage-O-Matic? No.

Two more questions: Is this mid-save compatible, and how does the game handle a maxed out 200,000 storage unit?

Yes, it is mid-save compatible, but make a backup just in case. I cannot say how the game responds to a unit with 200.000 storage maxed out, we are only at 5000 out of 200.000 in our save game at this moment :P

Would it be possible to give us a version of this but actually combining adjecent containers as one lrge container unit. This way it would be more realistic and scalable.

It might be possible, but it will require learning some lua. For now this is just a simple container mod.

Ferbemas, you cannot find the storage on the map. You do not need to learn the recipes. You have to craft it yourself, it is in the Storage-O-Matic tab in the crafting menu. You will need to find memory cards in the world to make the storage module.

if you fully load up the entire container (eg. 4000/4000) then you pick it up, will you be crushed? lol

when i go next to a storage o matic with many items(nearly full) and click the craft/bandage buttons, it crashes the game and the server, and the save refuses to load. any fix for this?

Hello witherstorm1x1, I am sorry to hear this. Unfortunately the only option is to load a backup. When you open craft menu, the game loads all recipes available with all items in the vicinity. The more mods, the more recipes. I tested crafting with full storage in vanilla and it was good, of course most people play with a lot of mods. If you have a lot of mods be a bit careful putting too many different items in it

ok, at least it works in vanilla so when im playign vanilla+ its good. thanks for info. can you tell me where to find lots of memory cards? it kinds sucks grinding for 64 of them...
