Hello fellow Chungusers,

As you may have noticed from your various odysseys, Demians are currently not very interactive in the game. They are not spent or used, and they don't confer any buffs or debuffs. Therefore, I would like to propose a very simple custom rule for Demians: Demian's Doom.

The first thing you'll need to do is adjust the Demian deck size based on the number of players: 50 for 2-4 players, 100 for 5-8 players.

You play the game as normal, but you keep track of how many cards are left in the Demian Deck. The game will change as there's less and less Demians left. All the effects are cumulative.

DAMIEN WATCHES (25 for 2-4 players, 50 for 5-8 players): Dredge. All dice rolls are -1 (to a minimum of 1).
DAMIEN APPROACHES (10 for 2-4 players, 20 for 5-8 players): Despair. Raw dice rolls that are odd take you backwards instead of forwards.
DAMIEN IS HERE (No cards left in deck): Doom. The player with the most Demians is eliminated from the game. The deck is refilled, and the counter resets.
