I propose to give them a real scout meaning - when you meet up with a scout party, you can have the option to ask for intelligence - f.e. 1 influence cost to give you one of the following:
- have your party spotting set to max lvl for certain amount - 1 day f.e. Should be fairly easy to implement with similar mechanic to the night buff orcs get.
- have the map(or part of it if possible) uncovered for a limited time - same as the ctr+t cheat, but if it's possible to do for a limited area, if not for very short amount of time for the whole map
This way you get a real scout parties that can help a lot with some of the quests - esp kill x groups or troops f.e.
