The way out is hard to find, but it's there. I think I followed the left wall for way too long down a lot of dead-ends before I finally hit a trail that was obviously the exit (ledges, fire pits, etc.)

That's the way I remembered too, but when I got to the spot where you had to cross a bridge I found that the bridge was destroyed... tried looking for a different exit but couldn't find one.

Keep going. I know there's an exit because I found it. I remember it was really frustrating though.

Yeah I believe you, because I found it before too. But in the nightly patch I'm playing on it appears that the old way out isn't there anymore.

I did notice that some parts of the scenes are different than what I remember(like the rope bridge across the fiery chasm being destroyed) so the devs might be in the process of redesigning stuff and haven't added a new exit yet. However I also noticed that none of the orcs you have to fight through to get to the book have weapons anymore, which leaves me thinking that the whole thing is just screwed and needs fixing.

There is a way, I can assure you. ;)

Thanks for the report about the weaponless enemies. Will be fixed in the next update.
