Im still unable to replicate this bug, unfortunately. So please upload your savegame and describe exactly, which party you fight against and which commands you give, also anything else that might be noteworthy.
Maybe I'm lucky and this helps me to finally get some clues as to when this happens.
I won't be able to look into this for the next few weeks though.

Im not to sure on how to upload the savegame if possible can you give step by step. I played as isengard level 8 uruk the war begins with other factions I fought rohan orcs and elves I press 0 which selects all units and command them to charge and fire at will also I tried every command to no avail Ive noticed that this only happens when I have a certain amount of units Ive also tied a new game with cheats and still the same thing.

Just locate your savegame file on your my documents directory. Upload it with Google drive or Dropbox or whatever. Put the link here. Please don't remove the file until I give notice that I have downloaded it, which will be in April.

I need as much circumstantial information as possible.
Do you use WSE2 per chance? Do you play on Max or Linux? Does it happen after extended playing time, after reloading, or after starting the game?Or do any of the latter to fix it?

Ideally, supply me a savegame directly before entering a battle where it consistently happens for you.

ive noteced it only happens when the war begins at level 8 I use windows laptop and i dont use WSE2 it only happens in a battle and seige aswell my cav follow orders only inf dont follow comands im gonna ind the save now andput it into a link

Please don't be that guy who says they've fixed a problem but doesn't how. Tell me exactly which settings you changed, so I can maybe find the issue, or advise players how to avoid it. If you still have that savegame where it happens, please upload it for me.

Interesting, thanks. Do you remember which file and which line exactly you changed? That would be important. If you found the fix on the internet, maybe check your browser history. If you only remember the file, you could also upload it here, so I can compare it.

I remember I uninstalled the game it did nothing but I think when I changed unit limit I think thats what stopped it I tried looking for vids on this nothing worked but when I changed that setting I didnt get that problem again tbh Im not exactly sure what happened but it was to do with the settings I changed before I played it

you know when you load up the game before I started playing the game I went into the settings not the menu that pops up and you choose which mod or game you wanna after that so when I was the main menu in Last Days of the Third Age

I'm having the same issue, but this didn't fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Not sure if this is the same issue the ppl above are having, but i've noticed that if you have new formations(ranks, shield wall, etc.) the group being in formation doesn't respond to map(backspace) commands.

Ex.: I have my inf in ranks/shield wall - open map and click - banner placement resets no matter where you click and inf doesn't move. Disband formation everything works as intended.

You can still control them with F commands while in formation though.
