INCREASE PERK LIMIT
Fill all 10 soul boxes. Once done a rock debris will be cleared. If you walk past the altar on the right there will be a target off the map laying on a tree. Shoot the target and the perk limit will be increased.
WARNING: Accuracy matters. If you shoot the outside of the target it will be only increased to 6. If you hit a bullseye, it will increase to 11. 7 and 8 are in between. Take your shot carefully as you only get one chance and the limit will stay that way for the rest of the game.

SECRET SONGS
The Paralyzer is required for this.  There are several spots where you fly up with the Paralyzer to grab records with the action button.  Once you acquire a given record, go to the gramophone in the farmhouse and press action on it and the song will play.  WARNING: Some of the Civil war songs may give you a Youtube copyright strike even though they are public domain.
