Hi, yeah that's a known issue. Some of the modded locations can be quite bad for it, do you remember which spawn point you chose?

I spawned in Bedford Falls in a dead-end street with a few compact 2-story homes which all had glass entrances.

Thanks for letting me know. Yeah that's a modded location so the Zombie spawning can be a bit iffy, presumably because the spawn safety hasn't been properly added (just speculating). But yeah, that's not something that can really be fixed so I'd either spawn in one of the base game locations (and then explore the other towns =) ) or make sure you save your character preset so that in case of a spawning mishap, you can simply restart and hope for a better spawn.
