Quite a few people have experienced issues with the Wolf Orb Essence not spawning as some guides miss out a required step

If you follow all of the below steps then you will hear a completion sound and the essence will appear in the church near spawn where you first collected the wolf orb

• Shoot the three graves with the wolf bow to make them glow
  
• Shoot the three graves again with a bullet weapon to fully destroy them (this is the step that most people miss)
  
• Interact with the wolf skeleton near the orb room and then follow the ghost wolf to the dig spot
• Interact with the dig spot to reveal the ghost bone
