Original Mod? where's Himiko? how to play Lu Lingqi?
Since people are asking about "original mod" with some downnright accusing me of "gatekeeping" and "wicked" ...

I thought this might clarify.

The original mod is named "Heroes Märchen" and was made during the Covid lockdown, a BETA version can be seen here --> https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2500130962
However, using only vanilla CEOs the portrait can't be made unique since vanilla uses clone (generic general), so the mod was abandoned.

I then commissioned a mod and personally made about 700 unique illustration (it was during quarantine/locked down so i had a lot of time) ^_^

I made Goguryeo, Yamatai, Xiongnu, Xianbei, Champa, YTR, Bandits and many others, even Hua Mulan. Some were historical, others were fictional with literature referances, like Ravages of Times, the novels about Guan Suo and Guan Yinping, etc, etc. I also did a complete made-up characther of my own.

Since I was doing only the images, their classes (wuxing) were my own reasoning, for example Lu Meng was Metal but I did him Fire to be opposite Guan Yu,

That is why when the images were ported/imported to TROM their color weren't exactly the same or was drename, like how I repurpose Qu Yi into Jia Long, since both vanilla and TROM do not have Qu Yi.

Anyway, before the mod was fully done, the dude i commissioned to do the mod passed away IRL, so the mod was incomplete, can be played but very unbalanced often CTD and by now (ver 1.7.2) it's totally outdated

With the mod incomplete, I tried to bring it to life somehow by using TROM ceo's, thus it named CGI for TROM.

As for people accusing me of gatekeeping contents, I'm not but I do have problems and thats is manual work and time.

Do you know that 1 general have 16 variations? (6 needed for full portrait, big and small version of anry, normal and happy portrait, 2 for bobble head,
4 for half body, 2 for mini and another 2 for card)

Now these 16 variations also require exif to be properly displayed, so imagine making that for 700 images, and for free.

So yeah, I'm done. With all these accusation of me being wicked, then maybe I am. So bye bye. here's a goguryeo start i'm enjoying privately, because i'm wicked arshol or whatever..

TLDR : No you can't play Himiko or Lu Lingqi, TROM do not have the CEO I can use.

Just read the thread, the way you ended it made me smile, it is a well deserved jab. And as a modder myself, I know how time consuming it is to make a mod, how painstaking it is to troubleshoot an unstable mod, so I do understand you, which makes it even more egregious the way I inquired about the mod content. So again, I'm sorry and hope to see your body of work released one day so everyone can enjoy it as much as you do. :Perseverance: :Morale:

If you need help or want assistance to make all the required variation, feel free to come to me. I would understand if trust is an issue, but we could work on a 5 or 10 illustrations batch. Once I sent you the 5-10 batches, you send me another 5-10 and so on until they are all done. I have a lot of time on my hands lately, so anything to help you out. I can also assist on some aspects of the modding, I obviously am very familiar with tools such as RPFM and Notepads. So feel free to come to me if one day you'd like some assistance in your endeavour.

Thanks, but i'll pass. Pretty burn out ATM and still felt bitter about taobao.
If the mod ever get enough subs though, like 10k or so than I might think about it. Maybe you can offer your goodwill again when the time comes.

It hurts to see people accuse other people of "stealing Mods or ideas" if you know what i mean rather than do their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ research and see what really is true. I am upset on what happen to you but regardless I will enjoy your mod to the fullest because CA sucks at the generic generals in this game, though to be fair it was similar in total war Attila. I've had one game where 3 vanguards looked like triplets and it really ruined my immersion to say the least since general duels are everything if you play romance mode. When reading the last paragraph of your clarification that was probably the best move for people like that and I fully support it though it is sad to see this mod will probably never be completed. At least CA stopped updating this game so the mod will hopefully never break on a new patch. I also want to know how you got to play as Korea or Goguryeo as I would hate asking but I tried looking for it unless as you said, it is a private mod for you.
