sound rework suggestions
First of all, this is a great project though i do think that some changes could be made to improve it and bring it to its fullest potential. In this thread sound is one of them

i think that some of the sounds could use a little rework some of the notes are like pure hard start/stop sounds, demo's bagpipes in particular.
soldier's trumpet as well.

one potential easy fix would be to drag out the notes a tad to maybe *just* fit in a small fade to make the notes flow from one-another.

we have someone who is redoing the bagpipes with real bagpipes actually!
sound is the hardest thing for us since we simply don't have an orchestra or anything but we are trying!

perhaps there are some local music schools or something similar that are willing to help, im sure there are plenty of community members that would like to help aswell.
some of the instruments are possible to mimic by using one instrumend with modifications
i've seen Davidlap's video's where he uses a guitar to mimic a banjo, violin and whatnot. Maybe that could be an idea

itd be very nice if valve would help and maybe re record it
