Pain Train is a short-but-sweet micro experience.

It sort of feels like a technology demonstrator/proof-of-concept for the Map Creator, but this doesn’t detract from the wow-factor that this Custom Campaign provides on first playthrough.

The special effects on this map are top tier, from a ‘moving’ train, to a cinematic introductory cutscene for ‘The Conductor’, to building, riding, and defending a moving raft from Common Infected, to a unique Finale where you defend the back of a taxiing plane rail-shoot game-style from attacking Common Infected, Boomers, and a couple of Spitter ‘minibosses’.

If only it had more content, I certainly would have rated it higher, as-is; it leaves you wanting for more.
