then to problem solving, to fix the exploration write this in the command window:
run DA_fix_broken_exploration.txt
If you are stuck where I think you are, try firing this event directly ( it is an mtth event so you could just be unlucky and never get it before 50 years, it will tell you what you were missing in the command window, if you were missing something in the first place ):

First command did nothing, second fired the proper event. I guess I was just too impatient.
