you can just copy and its two parts because its too big so he cant fit them in one

my Game.ini and GameUserSetings.ini wont save

If you are trying to use server settings for single player, you can force the game to not overwrite them by marking the files as read-only after saving them outside of the game.
Right click the text file(s), properties, check box at bottom area "Mark as Read-Only" or something like that.

Ok I did that and it's now not reverting, but now a lot of the settings aren't taking affect

Can anyone give me a guide for all of this, casually making first single player in 2k hours xdd but have no clue where and how to put these settings in

hello there
i have copied everything from the ini files into the specific config ini

but for some reason some configuations are way off ingame
like onehit harvest a tree with fists

and dino dmg is 0 also mating and egg hatching are not applied

i also looked carefully to copy after the server settings

did i do something wrong with copy and paste ?

i copied into these 2 ini files

G:\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

and there is the game.ini and the gameusersettings.ini



edit after deleting and validating my configs
it is now working as intended

there might have been some messed up stuff in some other configs that prevented them to work properly

first time ever trying to play with mods in ark. Is there an easy way to upload the rates. how would one go about changing them
