Possible bug on 343 Guilty Spark?
The crazy marine doesn't have the reversed pistol anymore (or any pistol, his hand is empty) so he doesn't shoot himself the moment you walk through the door. Also, Keyes has a normal pistol during the cutscene and doesn't shoot himself either. Are these bugs or are they intended for whatever reason?

They Keyes one is probably intended so that he doesn't kill himself during the cutscene and break it. The Crazy marine is probably so that he doesn't kill himself as soon as he loads into the level.

these seem to be both deliberate changes by inferno, which is kinda sad, i really liked it when they both died. not sure why he changed it
