Had the same thing happen to my friend and I earlier, made sure to kill everything around including the banshees. Essentially a forced flawless or else restart for co-op.

Hoping it'll get fixed soon, they know nothing of Cursed Halo and it's a real treat to take them through Again.

Yeah my friend is experiencing Cursed Halo for the first time too. I've been encountering this bug and another, slightly rarer bug in which they are stuck at the spawn point and cannot move or do anything and on my end they appear to be jumping up and down non-stop. Only way to fix that is to exit to menu. Also, I should correct my earlier post, restarting from checkpoint actually does respawn the dead player MOST of the time. It also appears to be me (the host) that tends to stay dead.

yeah you gotta back to menu every end of mission also yeah the co op thing is a pain
