Tips for surviving Legendary:
When the mod launched, I started it up on Legendary, and reading through the discussions, I feel like there is some wisdom that should be imparted, not out of a sense of superiority, but for pooling together communal knowledge, so I will drop in some tips I found by playing and spending some checkpoints testing:

Shield Jackals are difficult if you play in either a strafe oriented or cover oriented style against the TNT spamming Minecrafters, in order to properly defeat them, usage of some weapons is recommended, namely, the bitcrushed plasma rifle, A Salt Rifle, blunderbuss, flamethrower, quad laser, toolguns of the ignite, black hole (use at long range) pain, and random variety (defer to the D20 tip coming up), and damaging minecraft splash potions, plasma grenades are inconsistent and require distance but can help and if all else fails, you can still just BARELY shoot the hand to damage them. To safely spin kick them in Solo, start the kick before they enter range as you can still be killed during the animation, and in Co-Op, flanking should be employed to trivialize them when possible.

When using D20 grenades, try to have some distance and potentially have a door between yourself and the grenade should something happen, such as Half Life Orbs, Splash Potion spam or the various explosive results, and do NOT throw it in the way of progression, lest buffboi or the flappy banshee squadron block progression and force a revert in say...the Maw.

Focus down hitscanners! Halo CE tried to avoid hitscan enemies, and Sentinels/AR equipped flood were only threatening in numbers or if you were already overwhelmed, even on legendary, CHA does not share this design formula, sniper jackals, the flavors of sentinel, and beam rifle jackals are more lethal than most other enemies as they can easily take out chunks of your shields or even health rapidly.

Remember even the hoglet 'grenade' has the lethal CE splatter mechanics! It makes it a useful weapon but in cramped corridors can kill you as well, so...yeah.

And for my last two tips....I will share TWO potion effects, but only the color for one of them and a general tip, currently the golden potion is an overshield powerup, and there is another potion out there that is a full resupply, health, grenades, and a full ammo restock on all weapons (not potions though).

And find a comfortable, common weapon you enjoy and can fall back on, for me, it was the Bitcrushed Plasma Rifle, one of my friends hates it.

Should these tips prove helpful, that is good, should they not, meh, if I got something wrong? Well color me shocked like an RGB rifle but hey, I take corrections.

- Just kick the hunters. When you're in melee range, they rush you, and you can catch them with the kick before they ever hit you.

- The hoglet can be used to mow down enemies, as cover, and to skip annoying parts of the game.

- You can leave. Seriously, there's so many parts of the game where you can just... hit the bricks. Chuck a hoglet and dip. Don't like the spaceship levels? Run past enemies and blunderjump to navpoints.

- Don't forget that the blunderbuss is a method of transportation.

- The double jump kills momentum and helps you jump down from high places or survive D20 bounce effects.

- Bitcrushed plasma shots aren't big just for show. The whole thing is a hitbox. Use this in tight corridors.

- This mod is unfair. You can chuck D20s at the start of every level until you roll a Sofia or a random tool gun or whatever. Nobody cares. Nobody is gonna tell.

- The enchanted axe has extreme knockback and is a practical instant kill in any area that either has a high ceiling or is open. If they're not immediately dead they're either killed by fall damage or likely far out of your way. It's the knockback of the blunderbuss without the recoil.

- Bind flashlight to a mouse button and save yourself the pain.

- Double jump kills infection flood below you. Roundhouse kick kills them in front of you unless they're under your kicking leg.

- Attempting to use a drinkable potion without holding the fire button down consumes one use without effect. Avoid that unless you've got the instant death potion. Use this to get rid of it.

- Memorize the potion colors. It's actually super simple. There's only really four useful colors for overshield, health, active camo, and refill consumables. Everything else is either a dumb gimmick or a weak grenade. Some colors overlap, and the ammo count will tell you if it's useful or stupid. All buff potions have 3 uses. Also, there's no good black potion. Throw them away no matter what.
