Grenades dissapear from the hud and the player becomes unable to throw grenades while holding the weapon. Simply switching gun brings back the ability to throw grenades.

AR2 has two variants, one has normal grenades, the second removes your grenades and allows you to fire a ricocheting, hyper powerful projectile that can penetrate targets, this is not a bug, it is a power trip.

You can track the projectile ammo via the display on the AR's ICWS, it starts with 5 projectiles.

I'm not sure I entirely understand. This AR2 had normal bullets, and pressing F to throw grenades did nothing. I didn't check the display on the gun to make sure if it had any powerful projectiles.

Also if you're talking of the variant that only shoot energy balls then we're not talking about the same variant

If you hold F it'll fire the projectile, just be careful of it bouncing back at you. Had it fly back at me and instantly kill me once.
