Another temp fix until it's updated
Open your file explorer and go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730\2962107814
Open ModInfo.json, locate "MaxAppVersion" and change the "Minor" number to 3251

IF HALO UPDATES AGAIN you can find the correct number to replace by going to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Binaries\Win64
Right-click the file titled MCC-Win64-Shipping.exe and select Properties. Click the Detail tab on the top ribbon and locate the file version. The 4-digit number will be what you replace the "Minor" number with.

You can use any text editor. You can use Notepad, however, I used Microsoft Visual Studio.

I haven't had any problems changing this number, I think you're safe keeping it as 3251 as well.

Make sure you have both the Halo CE campaign AND multiplayer installed. Also, be sure to launch the game with anit-cheat off.
