I'm stuck on the first boss. I run around until he hits me into a corner and then I get stuck there because the attack slow is too much for me to escape before the next hit. It takes forever to hurt him because I have the starting pistol and I have to spend 3 shots into the generator thing to even bring his shield down. It would be nice to have another gun but the game only feeds me grenades that seem to have little or no utility.
On that note, is there a way to increase weapon drops or buy weapons? I've been unlocking weapons with XP, but why? I have yet to find a use for money, and the 'next phase' options don't make any sense. I've never gotten a curse card; I always have full health, and there I dunno how to spend money.
This mod is really cool, but after several plays it's just kind of frustrating my last few plays have been going just with 1 gun and when I do reach the boss I can't let him hit me at all because he might randomly knock me into a place where I get stuck and die.
