Sometimes it will hit, apply the stun and debuff, other times it will simply fizzle and just stick you in the air in the hit animation, while completely missing the opponent, I am not sure if this is intentional or not.
Additionally, the hack seems to affect workshop characters and non-workshop characters differently. As an example, playing versus any non-workshop character getting hacked will completely disable all their specials (as intended I assume) making them unable to use their upspecial to recover from a knock off stage.
However, workshop characters are unaffected by this and can still use their upspecial, while their other special moves are blocked.
I am unsure if this is because of the interaction between certain characters, or if there is just a bug in applying the hack to workshop characters.
Not sure why it happens, but it's pretty annoying.
