Bugs Reports/Suggestions
Make sure to catalog what is wrong with the mod functionality and provide error logs. I can't do anything with "mod doesn't load" or stuff like that. For any suggestions keep in mind I a trying to keep it close to vanilla balance wise but more interesting. So I won't be adding any 26 slot backpacks or walking tank suits.

Been considering this for awhile, it used to have the machete and marking the return of a heavier knife that attacks slower wouldn't be too bad but I don't want it to be better than the knife so that item is now useless

I think this might be due to localization problem of me not using a English.xml which is kind of a bad way to do this.

Done added in the machete, a heavier dive knife that trades a powerful chop for speed of attack, its also slightly slower for those with low weapon skill.

Nope, blame MannaBuildables. That mod randomly removes names from other mods.

I will eventually get around to doing a proper localization instead of using descriptionidentifier to force the description, but right now I am focusing on content and tweaking items.

Unfortunately Barotrauma does it where the item is defined in the talent rather than in the weapon code so if I wanted the coalition defense carbine on the same talent as the smg and shotgun I would need to edit talents.xml which many other talent overhaul mods use and it I would no longer be compatible with them.

In the latest update 1.0.166, the Laser Rifle broke for some reason.

I found the reason: it was the wrong "SpawnWithId" and "identifiers" in the "Laser Rifle Fuel Cell". Changing "laserrifleround" to "vwolaserrifleround" solves the problem.

Is that on an existing item? I changed it due to possible conflicts with other mods from generic item names like pistol, laserrifle and so on. I am checking the file and everything seems good?

I apologize, I did not accurately describe the error. The error itself is not exactly in the weapon, but in the "Laser Rifle Fuel Cell". On lines 2503 and 2504 in "SpawnWithId" and "identifiers" respectively, the identifiers have not been changed to new ones.
I understand your problem with identifiers errors in the game itself, but try to create identifiers that cannot be repeated.
